Russian Weather Loach

When I was a kid we had what was sold as a Russian Weather Loach, which according to the internet is Misgurnus mohoity *. I've not seen these for sale since I started keeping fish again but would very much like one or two as I remember them being very friendly fish, very much opposed to the aggressive sucking loaches you can get now.
Does anyone know if these are still available anywhere? Or are they restricted?

* (or Misgurnus bipartitus, Misgurnus bipartitusis, Misgurnus cestoideus)

It seems that Misgurnus fossilis is illegal in this country without a license, but the other's in the genus apparently have the same temprement so I should be able to get a Misgurnus anguillicaudatus (Dojo Loach).
