I was at the LFS and I saw some of these. Can the be put into a 10 gallon tank?

Would these get along with angelfish?

rosy barbs need at least a 20 gallon long tank, and i don't think they'd get along with slow-moving angelfish, as they can be mild fin nippers.

No - they grow too large for a 10 gallon and are schooling fish so need to be in groups of at least 6.

They are not particularly nippy so would be fine with angels. HOWEVER, if you have angels in a 10 gallon - well that's just as bad as having rosies in a 10 gallon :p Angels need a 30 gallon tall - minimum.

I don't have any angels in a 10 g tank. I was just asking.

I've had many rosy barbs over the years, and while they do like to be with company of their own kind, they don't really school They spread out all over the tank, but are very active so need lots of swimming room. It's been my experience that they're fine with angels (I currently have rosies and angels together). They do need a larger tank though (at least 30g I would say)

No, don't get them. I have a couple, and when new fish are introduced, they constantly nip them for a couple of days. They nip at everything.
