Just thought I pop a little brief summary of what is currently and what I intend on stocking in my 165l tank

Current stock

1 angelfish
1 Bol ram
2 guppies
2 blind cave tetra
3 Julii Cory
5 neon tetra
6 black widow tetra
2 pearl gourami

I know the angelfish will eat my neons eventually so ill not be adding anymore. Plus I'm waiting on my LFS to get more corys in so I can up their numbers

Future stock (hopefully)

1 angelfish
1 Bol ram
2 guppies
2 pearl gourami
2 blind cave tetra
6 Julii Cory
6 black widow tetra
6 mixed platy
6 dwarf rainbow fish

That's the plan what people think?

I would say increase the guppies, unless you're trying to phase them out as they die off. Whilst they aren't shoaling fish, in the way the tetras or rainbows are, they are boisterous little blighters. With only 2 of them, it's likely one will pick mercilessly on the other. If you had 5 of them, the dominant one will have plenty of subordinates to bully, meaning that the agression is spread out evenly.

Yeah I had 5 but over time they are fading away. So everything else seems fine?

I wondered if that was the case, re the guppies.

Black widows can be a bit nippy, and they'll have some nice long gourami fins to nip at, as well as the guppies, that might not work out too well. How are they with the angel?

They don't even bother it so be fair they all seem very chilled out which is lucky I guess. Also I thought about shrimp but I think all my fish may think they are a nice tasty live snack. What you suggest?

The angel almost certainly would with small shrimps. You might get away with Amanos.

Might have to have a look into them. May be hard getting larger ones tho.
