Rescues At My Lfs

I was doing some window shopping at my LFS when I stumbled across a tank that had a huge pleco and what I believe was an irredescent shark. The plec had to be 14" and the irredescent shark was very close to that. The shark was beautiful. Whoever the LFS rescued the fish from must have thought so too because the tank right next to that one had..... another irredescent shark. This one was probably closer to 10" in length.

They were selling sharks for $3.99 in the next row of tanks. Only these were 3". They should have posted a sign saying "Check out how big these guys get".

Yeah, it would be nice if certain LFS would take the time to educate people on how large some fish as capable of getting. I think at the end of the day, a lot of LFS are solely out for profit and care not about better the fish keeping hobby. Then again, an ignorant shopper is a stupid shopper in my opinion.

If more people took them back to the lfs then maybe the lfs would start put a card on the tank saying how big they grow.
