i have filled the filter box up then when i turn it on it make a noice like there is no water in it

can anyone help???

try and pur water in the inlet and outlet

but beware i had this filter (was about 2 year old) and the seal messed up which meant water everywhere got a new one and after about 2 months it started to leak again

I have it as well. Mine is new and easy to set up. First, color code the inlet and outlet tubes. The green tubes go with the green inlet parts, black to the black outlet tube. There should be a strainer, the end cap peaice to the intae tube, and several segmented shafts that connect together to form the inlet tube. They can be removed segment by segment to shorten the tube. Once that is done, connect the tube, and measure it's distance from where it is placed in the tank to where the canister is. Then cut the clear tubing, but give it some slack, don't make it too taugh or way too slack if you know what I mean.

Now the outake tube will have black parts, one is a long black tube with holes which evently distributes the outake flow out of each hole, Or you can use a curved valve peice to reduce or increase flow, your choice. AFter assembling that, connect the second clear tube to this and measure and cut again.

Now assemble the media section and put the motor and tubing peices into place. There is a lever in between the two tubes, you MUST pull that up and backwards until you hear the click which means the inlet and outlet tubes have been closed. THen go to the top of the intake tube and there will be a screw on cap, unscrew it and put the priming funnel in it. Fill the intake tube with water. Close the cap and plug the unit in, it's that simple, good luck.

thankyou got it working now :good: but when i plug it in the hole electricity goes of in the house any one now why? overload? i have got my tv, free veiw, pc, 3 tanks running in my room on 3 plugs

It would definately be beacuse that particular circuit in the house is overloaded. STart unplugging things if you can. Or use an extension to reach into anohter room. At least in America, there seem to be about 4 to 5 circuits on each floor, which include about 2-3 wall plug-in areas in that circuit. So You just need to reduce the wattage on them, or extend the wire into another room and another circuit.

Actually the amount of things you have in that one room is putting a major stress on the wattage I am sure. SO try rerouting some extra wires in addition, as as many wires as you surely have can be qquite a fire hazard, especially coming from one circuit.
