Hi all,
I was wondering if it would be possible to infest a low-end brackish tank (SG 1.005) with algae from a marine tank that had red slime a few weeks ago.
The cyanobacteria / blue-green algae / red slime don't have spores but single cells or still invisible chained cells should be present everywhere in the same way spores do.
I'm asking because I added already Chaetomorpha algae balls from a marine tank that has not been infested to our brackish tank and I would like to know if it would carry a risk to introduce also Chaetomorpha balls from a once infested marine tank.
