I'm thing of getting a Red Devil Juvenile. (3-4 inches long) I have a 125 gallon tank with 2 adult turtles in there. The female is 8 inches and the male turtle is 5 inches long. I was wondering that when the Red Devil grows will it pick on the turtles or do you think the turtles will be able to hold their own? I know that the Red Devil is mean as hell. Thanks!

Turtles have 6 vulnerable spots and 5 of them are weapons. With that much room I think they should be fine.

I actually think that the turtles are the ones you need to look out for. They have a nasty temperemant if they are unhappy, and do catch and eat fish. I wouldnt recomned the compo, but its up to you. I would be inclined to rehouse the turtles and have the bigger tank for the red and other fish.

Yeah, I'd say the fish was in more danger than the turtles would be :)
Turtles can inflict much more damage to a fish than a fish can inflict to them ;)

You could try it but keep a close moniter on the turtle's behavior towards the fish
