I got my crabs this morning, floated them for about half an hour, slowly adding the brackish water to the fresh they were bagged in. They all were desperate to get out, climbing up the bags and when they finally all got out - even though I've created a few little caves for them - they all went for the same bluddy cave. There's one I have been given that is distinctly smaller than the others, and after them having had a go at it it's clambered into a corner. One of the bigger ones has had enough and has wandered off but two of them are really going at it for this cave.

I've done everything I could to create a perfect environment for them - it's never going to be as perfect as their natural habitat, but still a good shot at it. I put some brine shrimp in for them and turned off the light in order to try and curb their aggression but it's not helped much. I've only had them for half an hour so maybe they're are just testing the ranks for the moment but it's still horrible. I have four of them in a 36 litre tank, and I know some may say this is too many but I honestly thought four would be ok.

Gutted :(

well the way things are going it may be only one left! So you are saying you would keep one singular crab in a ten gallon tank by itself?
