Hi,

The instructions of my water test kit don't advise how to read the result.

When reading water tests, should the test tubes be viewed touching the white background of the reading card, or in front of the white background but not touching the reading card?

If the test tube is touching the background of the reading card, the colour of the liquid appears darker and reads a different result.

Andy :)

In daylight is best. I put the test tube touching the white area and then compare it to the adjacent colour bar.

Not easy & I find it nigh on impossible to do (and I'm not colour blind etiher).
