Are RB pirahnas illegal in Florida in the USA?

Sorry to hijack and go off topic somewhat, is it true that the walking catfish has managed to get a strong foothold in Floridian waters due to people dumping them when they became too troublesome? I have had the walking catfish down as Clarius Batrachius and hailing from asia, but I saw a program about the Congo river which showed them 'walking' and the narrater called it a walking Clarius. I have an aquarium fish book with what looks like the same fish but with a completely different name, will have to look it up.

Back on topic, are the banned in these states as they can be introduced to the local waters in much the same way the walking catfish did and wreak havoc?
