Rams And Dwarf Gouramis

Hi.. Im just doing a bit of reaearch on rams.

I am planning on adding two rams and wo dwarf gouramis into my tank. Would you advise getting a pair or two males of rams and dwarf gouramis? What is their aggressive behavious like?

Also would you suggest adding them at the same time or seperately?

Nooooo, dont add 2 males of either, you'll have a fight a minute. Id recommend a male and female of each if thats absolutly not an option then either 2 females or 1 male.

You can add these at the same time provided your cycling permits.

in my 55g tank i have a male and female dwarf honey gourami, and a single male bolivian ram. the ram seems to be quite agressive with only these two fish. he doesnt do any damage but the other fish in the tank are smaller, so i think it may have to do something with the gouramis size.

I'd keep away from Dwarf Gouramis, due to the fatal Iridovirus. Try Honey Gouramis Instead.
