Rabbit Terds???

I heard that putting rabbit terds next your plant roots are a good and cheap fertilizer but wouldn't it foul up the water and cause an ammonia spike?

I do not have access to a rabbit. If I did, I would use them. There are many people that use them routinely. Turds is spelt with a "u" by the way.
