Im just about to give my new tank a quick clean and wondered what to use, its for marine thou dont know if that makes any difference!

If it's a marine set up, the saltwater forums lower down will be of more help. In general though, a new tank, by which I assume you mean no water or anything set up, just needs a good washing down. Maybe with vinegar or any aquarium safe cleaner but nothing else.

If it's a brand spanking new tank, then a warm water wash down, with un-used cloth should be fine... Although if it's for marine, your in the wrong section of TFF.. the salties are downstairs..
