Quick Question About Fishless Cycle.

Since your not starting with fish in the tank, do you still use water conditioner in the water during the fishless cycle, or can you add it just before you put the fish in once its completed?

I have added this question as well. Should the Water Conditioner be added to the water before its poured into the tank? So if doing a water change, mix the conditioner into the replacement water first then slowly add it to the tank?

Yes, you should still use water conditioner. Otherwise the chlorine will kill any benificial bacteria that forms and your tank wouldn't cycle.

Yeah always add the conditioner to the water before adding it into the tank...some people leave it over night, but make sure to mix the water thoroughly after adding dechlorinator
