PSG, firemouth and pictus okay all together in my thirty, or massive carnage? Plenty of live food so no worries there, and they'll be the only thing in there. (well, they will as soon as someone eats the molly)

Well my pictus and PSG are awesome together...and I keep them with rainbow cichlids which are pretty similar to firemouths...So I'd say go for it, and as long as the FM can stake out a good part of the tank as territory and there are hiding places for all three of the species If it is a 3' tank get 3 pictus (they like company), and possibly a few more gudgeons, as long as they don't cost too much Good luck

It's a tall tank, which was why I was only going to get one of each (plus I don't want fights to break out if suddenly if everyone wants to start a family lol). I will be putting live and fake plants in, and plunking down some sort of driftwood (real, fake, I don't know) in sometime, I figured if they all grow up together they should be okay, and they'll definetely won't have to compete for food the way my guppies are going at it Those little suckers are like water rabbits!

Yeah, plus it's on a dresser, so cleaning it is a real pain lol. If I didn't like my fishies so much...
