Hello.
A little more than two weeks ago I bought a Fluval Spec 16. I've finished the cycle, though after adding my first fish my ammonia has risen but is still staying below 0.25 ppm.
So far the life in the tank besides to bacteria consists of a hornwort, dwarf water lettuce, a nerite snail, and three kuhli loaches.
I will say that this tank has one major issue for me. It has three chambers, one I keep my heater in, the other is half filter, and the third is the return pump though I may change the water heater into my third chamber if it fits. But there's a tiny hole to the second chamber that bypasses the filter and the Kuhli loches easily fit through that hole. One of them has already gotten into the third chamber and I know I stressed him like crazy trying to get him out. I think I found a solution but I don't know if it will work. I bought an inTank tank modification. It's a little plug that I hope works. They also get into the first chamber really easily but I'm not as worried about that because they get out again easily.
Does anyone know of ways I can keep them out until then?
