Question About Cardinal And Neon Tetras...?

I've seen pictures in books, but they look the same to me... ; blue on the top, red towards the bottom...any differences between the two of them?

cardinals are Paracheirodon axelrodi
neons are Paracheirodon innesi

the most noticable difference is the red stripe
on a cardinal it runs the full length of the body
on the neon it stops about half way along.
