Well I got 6 dwarf corys Corydoras pygmaeus (i think, thoguh they first looked like Corydoras hastatus). Well in thier 60L they were really active and happy with about 30 baby guppies. But now a had to put 4 Corydoras pleatus in, and now they are terrified and swin off even if someone enters the room! :( . I think they seem o.k with the other corys but it was moving them in that triggered the odd behavior.
Yesterday one of the lil fellas died, he had just been sitting in the open and compared to glimpses of the others he was ill. On the bright side the others have reached sexual maturity as the colours have now appeared.

Is it cruel to keep them with bigger tankmates, and is thier behavior normal?

help please!!

Ours are shy too - but perk up when we do water changes...

might be worth a try.

Well thanks for the advice, But gotta say I've got floating plants and do a water change once a week :X lol.

Well I might just sell up my guppies and by some more pygmy corys
