Well, have had plants for 4 weeks now and one is starting to hit the top of the tank (1' growth), should I just cut it back a couple of inches (or as in the garden) should I cut it back hard to promote bushing?? (oh, and is it easy to make cuttings from it? and plant in the same tank?)

What plant are you talking about? Depending on what plant will determin how and how much you prune it. Rose

Its the one on the left Rose, I'd also like to grow plants on from cuttings (if the Silver Dollars let me! They moved in last night ;)

Take a pair of scissors and cut the stem where you need to and then plant in the gravel or in a place where the roots can develope. Rose
