I am in a mood today and decided to open a thread to show the progress of my common pleco growing over a year period.
I first had him in my 30G, then moved to a 100G(about) and he's been there since january/february this year. He seems to have doubled in size for that period of time but I am wondering if like any long lived fish he'll slow down afterwards. I don't know how big he is exactly, but when he opens his mouth he should be able to fit 4-5 guppies at the same time if he wants to
and will definately fit a chunky cory and more.
I have to post them in different posts as the site won't let me put all at once

And this is from today September 2012. He spends his day polishing the driftwood and does the glass at night but will come out for food anytime, especially cucumber:
