Pregnant Guppy Pineconing

Now I know this isnt normal, but my female guppy is definitely pregnant, but over the past 24hrs she has started to pinecone. Ive got her in a breeding trap and have the lights off. I dont think there is much else I can do, but is it likely that the pineconing could simply be related to her being pregnant, as opposed to dropsy or anything else?

The pregnancy should not be causing that, is it bad?

Its noticebly worse today compared with yesterday. Not much I can really do to be honest. There's not much point trying to treat for anything speculatively, and it is only her affected. I've covered the tank and left her in the breeder - i'll see what tomorrow brings

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but at this stage you can wave her goodbye. She certainly has dropsy and really only has a few more days to live at most. She may well give birth and then die afterwards. Or abort.
