hi i am running a fluval 305 in my juwel rio 300 and I see a few dead spots in my tank just wondering what is the best power head to use or any different ways that will help me out.

Any make of powerhead will do if it's just for removing dead spots but only you will know how big to get really so something that has adjustable flow would be better.
