Power Outage

We just had a power outage at lunch time. Fortunately Duke Energy got right on it so power was restored in an hour. I was worried about my fish and them not getting oxygen, heat or filtration. What can I do the next time this happens and what should I have on hand?

You can also get battery-powered air pumps that last up to 24hours. I have a couple - they're really noisy, but do the trick

They come with a small airline and airstone, but I just connect it to a sponge filter. Quite powerful for their size, but be prepared for considerable noise.

Thanks for the info malfunction. I don't care if it is noisy if it keeps my fish fine.
