Hello friends, I have a male Golden Panchax that shows aggression towards one of my female panchax in particular and i'm afraid it's stressing her out far too much for my liking. This female i have had for a long time and i bought her friends about six months ago when her previous boyfriend died. Of these newish friends one was male and although they have successfully bred together the male now is very cocky and constantly chases her away to the other end of the tank, i don't know why. He expects her to put out one minute and leave the next. Males! (joke!)

Anyway i think it may be in the best interests of the tank to give the chap away, i'm not sure what else i can do. I've read that separating them for a while sometimes solves things but i'm not sure..anyone know what to do or have had similar problems?

Mary xx

I've already got other femals it just he seems to take a shine and then a dislike to this one!!!

Add a female. or Like you say rehome him and us males just like to have a quicky then chuck the women sometimes :p

Not an option really, that female is my friend so if anyone goes it'll be him. He's the one causing the problems xx

if its only one female he picks on then rehome the female. if he picks on them all then rehome the male.
