Pond Snail Eggs :s

Okay,ive got a bucket with sponge filter with some pond snails in it. There have been white egg sacks stuck to the side of the bucket for a couple of weeks now. I went to look today and they were gone,and i cannot see any eggs at all! Whats happened? Have they died,or cant you see the babies for a couple of weeks? If not,how will i do my water changes without sucking up the mini babies!

They are extreeeeemely tiny but most of them would be stuck on plants or the walls so if you just syphon out the water with a small tube then that should be ok.

OR...

use a piece of netting to cover up the intake opening when you syphon out the water.
