hiya is anyone able to tell me if the tuxedo platys bellys in the photos look normal....they are both girls and there are males in the tank aswell im not sure if they are pregnant or not the bump is more to the front then the back so thats making me think they are not pregnant and im sure the bumps meant to be futher back...they are active and behaving normal testing the water parameters they are fine ...i only feed them once a day a small amount and fast them one day every week ive had them for 5 weeks now...all that is in the tank is sunset platys tuxedo platys and 1 honey gourami i got all at the same time and nothings changed in the tank...im only starting to worry now as 1 of the tuxedo platys i had when i got them she was smaller and thinner compared to the rest and didnt think much of it then after 2 weeks her fins was clamped but acting normal then wasnt acting normal and hiding and i wasnt sure what was up and thought she may have parasites/worms so treated for that as she was small that didnt help then 2 days ago she suddenly swelled up and started to pinecone a bit so then i thought she must now have dropsy i gave her epsom salt baths the last 2 days and treated with anti internal infection that says use when theres signs of dropsy and i woke up this morning and she had passed away :( so now worrying somethings going to happen to the rest of my fish...all the fish seem and are acting normal its just them 2 female tuxedos with a bit of a belly i dont think im overfeeding them cause i would of thought they would all have a bit of a belly ....im new to fish keeping so now im worrying...if anyone can give any help or advise i would really appreciate it thanks

My advice is to relax. They look just fine. Over the next few weeks, these livebearers will drop young and slim down temporarily.

thank you for getting back to me gary...i hope that is the case... i will keep an eye on them and try to relax

The one you lost is something that happens a lot with newly purchased fish.

yeah i did read that can happen and also with livebearers...thanks again for getting back to me i really appreciate it
