Hi All, I hardly know anything when it comes to plants, actually well nothing! And Ive just gone and bought some new plants for my tank, four in total (but have seperated them around the tank)
It looks really good, but my discus seem to be sulking since Ive put them in there....
Was there any preperation I had to go through before I put them in?
Do they decrease water quality? :/
Will I need to do more frequent water changes now?

*****An aquarium with healthy live plants is not only beautiful; it's better for your fish too! Live plants use fish waste products like ammonia and nitrates for food, which slows down the buildup of these wastes in your tank. Plants also absorb carbon dioxide and produce oxygen when the lights are on - helping your fish breathe easier when they are most active. So, are you ready to take the plunge and put live plants in your tank? .****

hehe, guess I just answered my question!
