Plants

Hi ive got a 10 gallon tank and i have two plants in there one is about 14 inches tall but can be trimmed. ive got one about 6 inches tall but i dont think the secound will get much talller.but i want more plants but i dont know what wuold be ok thers umm 14 mollies(11 fry they will be gone in a month or more) and a beta, so any advice for more plants wuold be cool, thanx

I have a number of Anacharus (Elodea) plants in my 10 gallon. They were the first plants I had for my tank & got them because a friend recommended them and they're fairly cheap. I also have some water-Lilly-type plants that I got as bulds from Wal-Mart. They were in a little package over in the fish/pets section of the store. I want to get some Java Moss, but haven't found any yet.

My Platys *love* to the eat the Anacharus leaves. I see my Ghost Shrimp on the plants, the Corys nibble on 'em (or grab the food that falls on 'em), the Betta likes to sit on 'em, and the Plec checks them out too! Plants are an all-around favorite in my tank
