I have a 29g tank with 1 Neon Tetra, 4 Lemon Tetras, 4 Black Phantom Tetras, 1 (Female) Emrald Corydoas, 3 dwarf Gouramies. i need to know what kind of live plants would be sutable in the tank.

I think you have slightly acidic water (pH 6.5-6.8) and soft water (GH under 7). But you didn't mention water values (pH, GH, NO3- and lights (=how many watts, what kind of tubes...))

First you should think about buying more Neon Tetra, because it needs school (at minimun 6). And then you need to buy more Corydoras, because it needs schools too. They are not living alone.

Dwarf Gouramis (Colisa lalia?) appreciates well planted aquarium. They love to swim in "bushes" and females can easily swim away from males.

assuming you have low lighting (2 or less watts per gallon) some java moss, java fern, water wisteria, water sprite, crypt wendtii, most crypts. that's just the small list. need more let me know. Rose
