Hi fish people

This may sound silly to more experienced fish keepers, but I just want to check.

I have a mixture of live and plastic plants in my tank, which I have placed in the corners of my tank, infront of the filter and heater. Is this ok? Does it affect their working at all?

Cheers
Andy.

Should be ok so long as they're not clogging your filter intake / touching your heater. If your heater has a guard on it then this latter suggestion should be less of an issue. You'll need to make sure there's enough of a space to allow the water to circulate around the heater as well.

I've done similar and my internal filter (with built in heater mind you) is hidden behind a fake plant and some straight vallis.

Hope this helps,

BFG
