Hi,what plants will grow on bogwood ,and how do i maintain them ,also how do i plant them? Thanks in advance.
 
Thanks for that ,sounds easy,will i be able to put live plants in a 28l,or is this too small?

I think it all comes down to the size and number of plants. There is no such thing as too small a tank for a plant. Just get the appropriate size/number and it will look very good.


BTW, you don't need to attach the moss or fern to bogwood. It can be attached to virtually anything that weighs it down so that it won't float away.
 
Thanks Eaglesaquarium,does it matter if i`m still going through a fish in cycle though [was given wrong advice at lfs]?
 
Plants will help a little with a fish-in cycle... They can take ammonia and use it sometimes.


Plants generally complicate a fishless cycle, but I believe having plants in a fish-in cycle is a GOOD thing. In fact, if you have enough fast growing plants, you do a "silent cycle" and shouldn't have much in the way ammonia readings. (Of course, you need to plant 75% of the substrate with fast growing stem plants.)
