Plants or not when cycling

Ho there. Setting up a tanganyikan cichlid tank. Started the cycle on saturday, but i am wanting a few strands of vallis in the tank to add a bit of colour and movement. Question is, should i wait till the tank has cycled or put them in now?

I cycled my Lake Tanganyika tank with plants in place. 2 years later all is well.

Def, plants during cycling. There are a bunch of positives to doing this. I cycled my last tank with some plants, 2 years back as well, still going strong. Actually, my profile pic is the tank I am talking about. That tank.
