planting bunch plants

is it better to plant them seperately or plant them in the bunch?

It might depend on what kind of plant they are. I got hygrophilia polysperma in bunches. I left them in bunches with the weights on until they grew a good root system, then I removed the weights and rubber bands. I did plant them in groups then, but not necessarily in bunches.
