Currently have a 20 gallon setup but wanting something bigger for a planted aquarium.

Anyone have a list of need supplies/parts?

Aside from the basics like substrate, driftwood and rocks.

Wondering about CO2, lighting and all the little pieces needed for setting up and maintaining.

Thanks

What size tank would you get?
You would need
Properly sized heater
Properly sized filter
Properly sized lighting
Co2 is not a requirement
And maybe a python water changer to make water changes easier

I probably could of been more specific

I should of been more clear with my original post

More looking for help with proper lighting, CO2 if needed and what it does

If fish are intended, provide what the species need. Plants are considerably more accommodating, and unfortunately some of the "plant" items (like CO2, so-called enriched substrates) can harm fish to some extent. Inert sand substrate, wood, rock, and select plants that will do well with your lighting. Fertilizer(s) may or may not be necessary.
