Pest Snails

what vegg is used to get rid of pest snails?,
i have assassins but there not doing to well is it marrow? or something else?

Put some cucumber on a plate. Put it upside down. Before the lights come in in the morning scoop the the plate and cucumber out. You should have loads of snails. Not all of them but keep doing it for a few days. There are some products on the market that claim to get rid of them all which are copper based. I'm not a fan of putting chemicals in the tank. But each to there own.

its a shrimp tank so i cant use copper anyway, thats why i asked for veg thank's i'll put some in, why under a plate? if the lights are off?

I need to do this as well but been told lettuce . I only have 2 Apple snails and keep finding tiny black snails everywhere
and no idea where from because I have not seen any eggs in my tank above the water line!
it's a mystery

The snails are more active at night. If you put the light on they will disappear. There sneaky buggers. It does work I bought some plants for my fish fishless cycle tank. Never again.

me to . had nice new plants then I brought the snails . bad idea . but now I've learnt my mistake lol
