Parameter Test Preferences

Well, I have decided to invest in a liquid test kit for my tank because I have been told time, and time again that they are so much better than strips. So, I am torn between the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Master Test Kit, and the API master test kit. Any advice from product experience? Also, my tank is brackish, so should I choose the saltwater version, or the freshwater version? And so you dont have to ask, my SG is 1.006, but I am going to slowly rise it to around 1.015 for the mature health of my GSP.
