i was thinking of removing my Platy fish from my 10g and replacing them, but with what? my LPS stocks so little in fish... then i remembered we're going into Quebec next week. the pet store there was White Clouds! so here i was, thinking about little White Clouds and how i'd be moving Crumple back into his half of the Aquaview+, and i- for some odd reason- remembered the Red Lyretail Paradise Fish i saw at the pet store.

since i know Paradise Fish are Anabantoids (right?) i decided to ask here ^^ the only info i've found says there's one kind of Paradise Fish, so what are the Red Lyretail kinds? are they just a mutation, or a variation? would one get along in a 10g with, say, eight White Clouds? what do they eat, how aggressive are they, et cetera, et cetera!

figured i could get more help here then on Google, you're all fishie-geniuses ^^

Honestly i dont think he would. Paradise fish are Gouramis and therefore are territorial. I had one in a 29 once with a swordtail anda an angel and that didnt work out so well. He had to be removed. I know that there are variations of the Paradis gourami because i have had two of them. I had a Blue Paradise Gourami and an Albino Paradise Gourami. They are great fish (I LOVE Gouramis) but shouldnt be kept in a 10 Gallon. Dont put him with anything that has fancy fins either because they are pretty aggressive. Here is some basic info that goes for all paradise gouramis.
