Hi!

Just a question...how big do panda cory's get? I have a couple of them and right now they are only about _______ that long. Do they grow bigger then that?

Thanx :D

ok thanx Teelie,

I read that they need to be in groups of 3 or more and i only have 2, thats why I was asking how big they get so I can put a couple more in with them

I've seen them listed on various fish info sites at either 1.5" or 2". They are definitely one of the smallest cories except for the pygmy species eg hastatus and habrosus.

Two more would be great and four more would be even better, presuming you can fit them in. :)

I doubt Panda C reaches 2 inches - I've had them for about an year and half (they are probably now about 2 years old), and they are barelt over 1 inch...

Some are just slow growers. My younger Aeneus are still not adult size yet the Peppered I got, which are younger than them are already caught up and almost surpassing them.

I heard of one that got to 4" :hyper: but I think he must've had a growth hormone problem or something

How many can fit in a 20 gallon? in the 20g I have 1 small angel, 2 swordtails, 2 female guppy's, 1 small dalmation molly,2 khuli loaches and of course, the 2 cory's -_-

I don't know...what is the length and width of the tank? And are you keeping the angel there as an adult?

hmm I only know the height of the tank, and its 17.5" tall, I think -_- ...well it's close to 17.5".
and no, the angel is not staying in there forever, I already have it covered

yeah my parents have 1 (2 died :-( dunno why but they died like the day after they arrived... so who knows) they plan on getting two more but there panda right now is only about half an inch (in black and white gravel he sure does get "lost" a lot) but I have seen some at my LFS atleast 2" long.
