thanks for any help

You could possibly be having a mini spike after adding fish,

How big is your tank?
Was it cycled?
What are you readings for ammonia and nitrite?

For now i would do a largish water change and see how they go...

its a 60litre

tank was cycled

i haven`t been able to check the water today as i forgt to get a new test kit yesturday il need to go get 1 tomorrow. i have already done a small water change beofre i found this site do you think i should do another 1 or just leave it?

manged to get a pic it looks to be brathing quite a bit

Hiya's,

Had the headstanding with some barbs

Cure for me was a swimbladder treatment (used Interpet - Swimbladder Treatment)

Bottle is right by me and it has on it ............. Per 100mls

Bronopol 1,045mg

Formaldehyde 2,000mg

Benzalkonium Chloride 500mg

Might be worth a try, added ingredients to maybe help you find an equiv treatment if required

Tony

ps: on the waterchange front, i would do the max waterchange you can without having to remove the fish

thanks il have a look tomorrow for it
ive just done a 50% water change see how that go`s its not looking go for the wee thing its strugeling to brath a think now its not pointin down now its just gettin moved aboout with the current in the water
