I just bought three Harlequin Rasbora earlier today. After adding them to my tank they seemed healthy, schooling amongst themselves and then my Neon Tetra joined it. (Water conditions were tested today and are fine.) Tonight, after the lights had gone off, I noticed that the black on the rasbora's has faded somewhat. Is this similar to the way neon tetra fade at night, or is it something to worry about?

Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about it tonight.  Wait til the morning and see if the color returns.  I just checked my harlys (lights have gone off very recently in my tank) and a few are a bit paler than usual.  I wouldn't call them pale, but they aren't as vibrant as usual.  But, my lights literally just went off a few minutes ago.  If its been off for a while longer, they might go paler... never really looked for that.

So, if the color is still missing tomorrow, then I'd be concerned.  In the meantime, rest easy, its probably nothing.
