heres one of my more full tanks,
just to check am i over stocked in a 15 gallon with 3 platies, 3 cardinal tetra, 2 kuhlii loaches, 3 pygmy cories, 2 ADF's and 3 amano shrimp.
sounds a lot, but they are spread out over the different area of water (bottom, mid, top), the shrimps and cories eat left over food so it wont rot,and the shrimps,ADF's, cardinals and loaches add litle waste to the bio-load. and i compleate a weekly water change of 40%, refilling with treated tap water. it has planty of live plants and sand substrate.its had no aggression problems or diseases.
its a well mature tank been set up for years.the platies do have fry, but i move them.only a few get left, some get eaten, some hide and survive.all fry get sold. the platies are going in a few months and being replaced by guppies.i had more tetras before i got the platies but some died.
cheers
