I have a 55 US gallon tank that here in a week or two will be ready to add fish to it. So I've come up with what I would like to see in the tank. I've had some people tell me that the fish I'm wanting to add is fine and others are kind of iffy on the numbers. So I'm trying to get as many opinions as I can before I start stocking. I do week 25-30% water changes (just depending on the test) and that is after the tank is cycled. I'm having to do the 55g a little more often at the moment to keep everything in order. Here is the list of fish that I would like to put in the tank:
3 dwarf sunset coral platies
2 Balloon Belly Mollies
3 Oto cat fish
5 red tailed dalmatian mollies
3 Creamcicles Mollies
3 Panda or spotted Cory Cat Fish
1 pink striped ramshorn snail
1 purple stripped ramshorn snail
1 blue ramshorn snail
1 Blood Red Ramshorn snail
3 Dwarf African Frogs
10 neon tetras
I also have these live plants:
3 cabomba
2 Anacharis
And I'm looking for a low growing plant to compliment the front of the tank. Looking for something easy to care for and something that won't cover the entire bottom of the tank as long as it is kept up.
So suggestions on plants would be nice and opinions on my current stocking plan would be great!
