Ottos N Betta

im probably going for the betta option now..but i was wondering could i keep ottos with corys and a betta?

making it :

- 1 betta = 2.5 inches
- 3 schwartz corys = 6 inches
- 2 otos = 3 inches
- total: 11.5 inches - but would the ottos suck on the betta as its slow??

I've never heard of an otto sucking on a betta... just make sure it IS an otto and not a Chinese Algae Eater.

What size tank were you going to put them in? <- am a US gallon type person, so I wasn't sure if the one in your siggy was the tank you wanted to use, and if so, wasn't sure what the conversion was from UK gallons to US gallons.

otto's suck on other fish when they have nothing to eat themselves i doubt a betta would allow a fish 2 suck on it. otto's need to be put in a tank after 6months remember.

if you give them a good amount of green matter in their diet they shouldn't suck on the betta.
