opaline's eye changed color

We have 3 opalines. When we purchased them, their colors were dull. Recently the contrast of their blue streaks has increased greatly. One in particular has brilliant bdark blue streaks now, but his eye has turned black/dark blue in the front, too. It looks pretty strange (mostly because he looks so different) . Im assuming its normal, I just wanted to know if anyone had ever seen this before.
Or maybe one of our aggro Flames beat him up.

what is a aggro Flames, almost sounds like a color patter on bettas?

sorry, i was reffering to Flame Dwarf Gouramis - should have been more clear - but it was just a joke. In literature, I always see that the Flames are peaceful and the Opalines are semi-aggressive. But its the exact opposite for us. Our Flames can be pretty aggressive.
