One Finned Tail

hi there i dont know if this is an emergency necessarily just a general wonder-ment.

One of my white clouds has one tail (came that way from lfs) like one thin point instead of two, if that makes sense. He's only young and small so have turned down the filter flow a little so he can swim more without a struggle and less stress, other than the tail he's absolutely fine, no white line like fin rot or anything.

Can he survive happily like this?

If he is healthy then there should be no reason why he can't survive happily

with good clean water and plenty of food it should grow back in no time

As long as he not struggling to swim, and no signs of infections.
Just water changes.
