Oh No! Please Tell Me It's Not True!

I just saw that figure 8's only live for 5 years and get to about 3inches!!! So mine is quite old already!!!

I have only had him about 3 months and he is about 2inches long.. I have another on how is only little nearly 1inch long so the bigger one must be alot older but how old?? I really cant face him only having like 1 more year to live!!!!

My two F8s are almost 3 inches already and I am not going to worry about how long they'll be with me for, just enjoy them as much as possible while I have them

I am not sure how fast F8s grow to maximum size, but it may be that they grow really fast and then live a full and happy life at adult length, f you know what I mean? It may not mean that because they are large, that they are really old. Someone may be able to verify this though.

Approx 3" is their adult size.

jennys right they do grow quite quickly to about 2", they will then slow down and grow very slowly from there, so enjoy him
