Nutrafin Waste Control

Has anyone used this before ? i have seen it many times in my LFS ,though wasnt sure if it was just a waste of money ?

Should i just stick to my gravel vac ?

As a general rule, avoid any and all chemicals except dechlorinator and possibly fertilizers for plants. In an established tank, you have plenty of bacteria present to break down waste, turning it into ammonia which your nitrifing bacteria will process. Just do gravel vacs during water changes and you will be fine. Even if you have a lot of plants (as I do) where you really can't do gravel vacs you shouldn't have any problems.
