I was just wondering where all of you gardeners like to keep your nitrate levels. I've come across various opinions on this and am interested in what you guys think.

Some of my fish are very nitrate sensitive but I try to keep my nitrates at 10-25ppm for the plants, and I've had no problems.

Trying or not, but it's about 10mg/l always  However, some plants don't tolerate high nitrate level, for most plants 2-10mg/l is enough. Even some plants die if the nitrate is higher than 3-4mg/l.
