Hello,
I have been keeping fish since tenth grade biology way back in the last millenium. I started out with a 5 gal tank and did the usual progression thru 10 gal, 20 gal, 29 gal and finally 55 gal.
I have had tropical and salt water tanks and presently have a corner tank-54 gal. I use a filstar canister filter and love it. I have several snails in the tank and hope to breed them--mystery and apple.
For fish i have 2 angles (large), tiger and rosy barbs, 2 rams, 3 headstanders, 3 varieties of tetra. 3 varieties of catfish, and silver hatchets. I use plastic plants and heavy on rock formations both real and synthetic.
Always learning new things and find so much information in this forum. Look forward to learning new things and am planning on setting up grandkids with 2.5 gal mini bow tanks to peak their interest in the joys of fish keeping.
