New Tank Yes!

OK so i finally have room to put a bigger tank am going from a 20gl to 30gl . I cant wait going to pick it up tommarow. I think am going to make it a African Cichlid tank. I have the fish on hold so far i have 6 going in but my question was since the cichlids are small (still very young) can i put my clown loaches in for a while because the loaches are 3 inches long? Let me know what you guys/gals think.

I think it should be all right depending on the size of the clown loaches when added to the tank.

What fish are they?

a 30G is too small to keep clown loach or most african cichlids long term

The Clowns will need A LOT more room. They can, and will, grow quite large.

As for the africans...which ones do you have?

African need a higher ph around 8.0 not sure if this would work for clown loachs needless to say that tank is way to small for them

i have one question and im not trying to be mean but what is the point in only going up ten gallons in size? if u have a 20 now should go for at least a 40 gallon if room permits
